Past, Present, Future --- U.S. at 250 A Community Mail-Art Event July 2026 Newport, Oregon

How do you tell the American Story?  Where have we been? Where are we going? What does the United States of America mean to you? We asked the public to mail in postcards with art and writing on the theme of the United States of America’s past, present, or future, to be displayed on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.    Postcards will be exhibited July 3-5 10am-6pm in the gazebo at Don and Ann Davis Park, overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Newport, Oregon. Visitors are invited to make their own to add to the display! Join us for a reception on July 4 starting at 3pm with music from Barbara Turrill!
